What Mailing List?Screen Shots![]() This is the screen on which you enter the names and addresses of each person (or company or what-have-you) in your mailing list.
![]() When you need to import data from another programme, What Mailing List? is ready to make it as easy as possible while also being very flexible. This screen shows how you can define one or more fields of an DBF data file to any field in your mailing list.
![]() WML is smart in the way it lets you work with your files. From the File Window you can open a file, change its description, rename it, or even delete it. If you want detailed instructions on using this window just press the F1 key or click on the Help button using your mouse. You may enter a 40-character description for each file. These descriptions are saved in a way that is compatible with the popular 4DOS command interpreter. If you use 4DOS the file descriptions will show when you do a DIRectory and you can change file descriptions using the 4DOS DESCRIBE command.
What Mailing List? has a unique method of grouping entries together. You can define up to 255 groups, such as those in the example screen above. Your groups may have long, sensible descriptions rather than short codes. Whenever you want to include an entry in certain groups, you just press a single key to pop open the group windows. On the left are all of the groups. You may include an entry in up to 20 groups, which are then listed in the right-hand window. It's very easy and flexible!
What Mailing List? uses the common 2-dimensional pull-down menu system which is found in most computer software. As you use a mouse or arrow keys to navigate the menu you will see that all options are visible (which makes it easy to find the feature you want).
Whatever type of labels you like to use, chances are that What Mailing List? will allow you to print on them. Up to 9 labels across in any font using English or Metric measurements up to dimensions supported by your printer.
What Mailing List? lets you Select entries - one at a time or in batches based on some criteria such as the City name - and then operate on the selection. Besides printing Selected entries, you can perform a number of other actions as shown in the menu above.
