What Vehicle History? (WVH) is maintenance record-keeping and reporting software designed for service providers or companies with fleets of vehicles. Since 1991 WVH has been used by customers in the U.S. and Canada to track information for cars, trucks, tractors, tractor-trailers, school buses, airport ground vehicles, etc. WVH was initially designed for a field office of a multi-national U.S. corporation and has evolved to include a complete parts inventory system and sales tracking. With a theoretical limit of over 2 million vehicles (or any other types of equipment), WVH is your handy electronic filing assistant which keeps all of your maintenance records organized and rapidly accessible when you need them.

If you own a shop, imagine having your customer's service record at your fingertips -- just search for their vehicle, press one key, and within seconds the information is on the screen. Press another button (or click using your mouse) and a report is printed. Easy, efficient, and very compact. This software is so efficiently written that it can be used on a computer with floppy disk drives (although a hard disk is certainly recommended).

WVH offers a wide variety of reports including billing statements. Every feature is contained in a standard pull-down menu making it extremely easy to learn, especially if you are familiar with other software, such as Windows, which uses pull-down menus. Six integrated data bases	WVH keeps track of everything! Vehicles, mechanics and service providers, service categories, customers, parts inventory, parts vendors.
High capacity	Store up to 5.5 million entries in each data base: 5.5 million vehicles, 5.5 million parts, etc.
Inventory	A complete parts inventory, including sales and profit tracking.
Vehicles	Use WVH to track cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, school buses, etc. Details for each vehicle include 11 different user-definable serial numbers (VIN, frame, engine, etc.).
Service categories	You define service categories the way you want them. Brakes, tune-ups, tire rotation, whatever you want to track. Then you can print reports which break down expenses by service category.
Customers	For independent shops, this part of WVH lets you keep up to 5.5 million customers on file. You tell WVH which customer owns a vehicle when you enter it. For internal corporate shops, your customers are the other departments or divisions within your company. Either way, WVH can handle your business and will print billing statements for each customer whenever you wish.
History	Imagine having every service record in your computer when a customer asks a question about something you did a year ago. No problem! Pull up their vehicle and WVH gives you a list of service dates. Pick a date and the service record appears on the screen.
Printers	WVH supports laser, ink jet, and dot matrix printers.
Compatibility	Whatever computer you have, WVH will probably run on it. As long as you have at least 450kb free RAM (which most computers do) and a couple of megabytes free space on your hard disk, you're in business!
Easy to use	Mechanics say WVH is the easiest computer tool of its kind. Forget about complicated software - WVH has all the features you need in an easy pull-down menu format. You can use a mouse or the keyboard -- whichever you like. If you ever have a question, you can press the F1 key to get context-sensitive help or look it up in WVH's 3-ring-bound illustrated manual.
